Murphy Surveys and Leica Geosystems strengthen partnership to pioneer monitoring solutions
When it comes to structural monitoring projects where high risk and complexity come as standard, Murphy Surveys have over 35 years’ experience in meeting the needs of the most demanding environments. Where risk mitigation is critical, we pride ourselves in being at the forefront of the industry, continuously innovating to develop our monitoring solutions and best practice techniques. As part of our ongoing partnership with leading instrumentation manufacturer Leica Geosystems and Hexagon, last week we welcomed a visit from their development team to follow up from over 12 months of discussions in supporting the evolution of its monitoring solutions.
“We were delighted to welcome the development team at Leica Geosystems to our headquarters in London,” commented Matthias Gropp, Director, Murphy Surveys. “We are working on some large progressive infrastructure projects in the UK, and with many decades of experience behind us we are ideally suited to offer recommendations and support”.
Gropp continues, “At Murphy Surveys it is critical that we align an experienced and knowledgeable team with best practice methodology and the right tools. This ensures we can deliver a service we are proud of and guarantees that we meet our clients’ exact requirements and specifications. We have been working with Leica Geosystems for many years and trust their instrumentation and software solutions to continuously deliver the level of accuracy needed for such demanding and challenging projects. As part of our ongoing partnership with the company, we are excited to hear how we have been, and continue to influence and help shape the future of monitoring technology.”
Last year the team at Murphy Surveys visited the Leica Geosystems factory in Heerbrugg Switzerland to learn firsthand about the product roadmap, and to understand more about the development and manufacturing process of it’s instruments and software solutions.
