About the position

With several large-scale prestigious and innovative projects currently underway, our monitoring department continues to grow strongly in the UK. As part of this expansion we are looking for an experienced and skilled geotechnical and geodetical monitoring specialist to join our monitoring team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead monitoring sensor installations
  • Set up monitoring software such as Leica Geomos or similar
  • Communication with clients and suppliers
  • Project management
  • Work in a team with other PMs and monitoring staff


  • 5 years’ experience (minimum)
  • Strong knowledge within construction industry (ideally in surveying and monitoring industry)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working to high safety standards
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Ambition to learn and develop

Key Competencies

  • Monitoring or technical sensor data communication
  • Time and Priority Management
  • Relevant Qualifications and/or relevant experience (ideally PTS for railway works)
  • Understand scopes of work and project requirements
  • Possess an understanding of surveying and monitoring or sensor communication
  • Communication skills
  • Possess the ability to work with autonomy or as part of a team
  • Preferably surveying background

What we offer

  • Competitive salary £30,000 – £40,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Overtime in addition to the above for night shifts or weekends worked
