I worked in monitoring for 5 years in my home country of Spain. When I moved to London I was able to continue my career in monitoring working on the prestigious Crossrail project. I joined Murphy Surveys’ London office in March 2018. Although I joined in the monitoring department, I have assisted the laser scanning and track surveys departments too. I am very happy, and I appreciate this new opportunity of joining an amazing international team and look forward to continue learning.
Ivan AragonSenior Surveyor
I joined Murphy Survey’s London office in 2017 as a Junior BIM Technician. In the past 1.5 years I went from a complete beginner in 3D modelling to an accomplished modeller, learning a lot from my great team. Starting out with simple tasks like populating a topography with site furniture and trees, I have progressed far and had the chance to model some amazing buildings and unconventional projects. I enjoy these chances to use cutting edge technology and to broaden my horizon.

My Murphy Surveys journey began in 2015 as a Junior Surveyor. Within a year I was promoted to Surveyor, where I started to process my own jobs, it was amazing to learn and I had a lot of support in doing so.  I’m now working in monitoring and it’s exciting to be part of a specialist team. I’m applying for my CICES with the support of the company and I’m in the process of becoming a role model for Women in STEM. I love my job and can say that I’ve never woken up not wanting to go to work.
Lauren Holland Surveyor
I started with Murphy Surveys Cork office in 2016. I have worked in the field and office on a variety of topo, laser scanning, MBS and setting out projects. Along the way I've had a privilege to work with bunch of great and experienced colleagues and learn from them. Another thing I particularly like about my job is the opportunity to use some of the latest technologies within our industry (both instruments and software) on a daily basis and to combine them in execution of our projects.
